Dear friends,
Next year we will have in Lyon the VIIth International Symposium of Auriculotherapy under the presidency of professor Pierre Rabischong. For this event we have chosen the beautiful and calm Saint Joseph Estate. It is an ancient religious domain composed of several buildings surrounded by a five hectares park, at four kilometre distance to Lyon city centre. The conference hall is spacious with windows that provide day light and offer a view on the park. An integrated hotel with 100 rooms offers accommodation at place. For those who would like to reserve a room at Saint Joseph Estate we suggest to make their reservation as early as possible.
The symposium subject submitted by the organizing committee of GLEM is :
Nervous system and neurologic disorders.
It is a very large field of auriculotherapy, often applied in terms of fundamental, as well as in clinical research. Auriculotherapy and auriculomedicine represent methods which in fact employ the nervous system for treatment. Moreover, these techniques treat mainly diseases with a dominant neurologic element: pain, migraines, addictions, functional disorders, anxiety, reactional depressions, fatigue etc...
We recommend to those who would like to present a scientific work to the scientific committee of GLEM to submit their publication directly to Michel Marignan (M.D.) to the following email address : marignan@online.fr
The scientific works will be presented either as oral communications or as posters. The best communication will receive the GLEM award.
The symposium will take place on two days : on Friday, the 8th and Saturday the 9th of June 2012. We took the option of a short symposium, in order to give to the participants the possibility to travel back home on Sunday in calm conditions.
